But what about copyright?

PhotoSketch: Internet Image Montage from tao chen on Vimeo.

This is potentially a great invention - an online piece of software which allows you to create virtually seamless montages based on images found via search engines.
You search, you sketch, you choose, you tell the program what the final picture should look like, it stitches things together and - voila! Now everyone can become a Photoshop master without even owning a copy of it.

In theory great, but I haven't seen it in practice yet. It would be good if someone sent me a working link as the two I tried didn't seem to work.

I'm also a bit concerned by lack of any information regarding the software's ability to credit the authors of the original images.

I should get one of these. Or should I?

My colleague Chris has just bought this tiny Polaroid PoGo printer.

What a sexy little thing! The printer, that is, not Chris.

You should have seen the lunchtime excitement - bluetoothing pix of his dog and printing them on my desk.

For under £25 you can get your own endless prints on the go. They are tiny, but they also work as stickers and just like with the old, discontinued Polaroids there is something really attractive about the slightly blurry, slightly washed-out image quality.

Not sure how often I'd use it, but Chris already seems to be permanently attached to it and I reckon by Monday his entire family and all friends will have 5 stickers with his dog each.

Some pics I take are special. This is one of them. Welcome to my Posterous.
