#1pound40 unconference pictures

My new favourite word is 'curating'. "Curating content", "curating tweets", being a "curator". All these phrases have been used - and sometimes overused - during today's 1pound40 Amplified/Thomson Reuters unconference held at Thomson Reuters' swanky Canary Wharf HQ.

It was a stimulating and lively debate focussed on social media, but unsurprisingly - and annoyingly - very Twitter-centric.

I had the pleasure of listening to - and debating with - some really stimulating minds. A short write-up will be on the blog soon, here are some not-so-good pictures (shame on me) from this afternoon.

Also, have a listen to Brian Condon's post-1pound40 Audioboo: http://audioboo.fm/boos/75743-finding-the-space-more-difficult-this-time and for more great audio stuff head over to @Documentally's Audioboo page: http://audioboo.fm/profile/Documentally

I normally hate it when people celebrate meaningless milestones on Twitter, but we all have moments of weakness...

Rupert, oh Rupert....

Either the guy is brilliant (but we just can't see it), or he's standing at the very end of a wobbly springboard suspended over a deep valley known as The Gateway to Obscurity, ready to make his final jump...

Ceramics in action

A few shots from today's trip to the V&A. Their newly opened ceramics gallery is quite stunning, even if - like me - you don't know much about this stuff...

Photographer wins copyright ruling

From The Guardian:

"The high court made a ruling on 16 October that has important ramifications for newspaper and magazine publishers and photographers, but it appears to have slipped under the mainstream media radar."
